Client messages are follow-up emails you write once and reuse, like a thank-you note or a request for a review. They go out in your name, and replies come straight to your email.

Choose Send automatically and pick when:
| Option | Sends when |
|---|---|
| Report published | You publish the report. |
| Report available to the client | The client can first open the report: it's published, and any agreement or payment is done. |
| Payment received | The inspection is paid online, or you mark it paid. |
| Agreement signed | The client signs the pre-inspection agreement, or you mark it signed. |
| Client first views the report | The client opens the published report for the first time. |
Add a Wait to send it a few hours or days later. Delayed messages go out within the hour after the wait is up.
Each automatic message sends at most once per inspection. Re-publishing a report doesn't send a second thank-you.
Messages never send for draft inspections. A message waiting on a report doesn't send if you unpublish the report first.
Add your review link in Settings → Business → Review link. Use the full
link, starting with https://, from your Google Business Profile's "Ask for
reviews" option or your Yelp page. If you're in an organization, an admin can
set one for everyone in Settings → Organization → Business. Your own link
takes priority.
A message that uses the review link won't send until a link is set. You'll see the reason on the inspection.
On an inspection's Deliver step, the Client messages card lists everything scheduled and sent.
Every client message includes an unsubscribe link. A client who unsubscribes stops getting client messages from you, but still gets their report, agreement, and payment emails.
Organization admins can turn on Use for the whole organization for an automatic message, so it sends on every inspector's inspections. Other messages only send on inspections you own. Only admins can edit or delete organization-wide messages.
