Drafting the summary with AI

Generate with AI writes your report's Final Comments from the findings and answers already in the inspection.

The summary is the first thing your client reads. Generate with AI drafts it for you from what you've already recorded, so you start from a draft instead of a blank page.

Generate a draft

  1. Open the inspection and go to Review → Summary.
  2. Next to Final Comments, click Generate with AI.
  3. Optionally type anything this summary should know or do (see below), then click Generate.

The draft lands in Final Comments exactly like text you typed. Edit any part of it, and read it through before you publish. It's your report.

If Final Comments already has text, the button reads Replace & generate, and the old text is overwritten.

What it writes from

The AI reads the inspection's findings (with their severity, location, recommendation, and any cost or timeline you recorded) and the answers to each question. By default it writes 150–300 words: the overall condition first, then the most serious findings, then routine maintenance, and a closing line pointing to the detailed findings.

It only mentions what's actually in the inspection. It won't invent defects, guess at materials or ages you didn't record, quote repair costs, or promise that anything is safe.

Make it write like you

You can give the AI standing instructions for your tone, length, structure, or anything you always say. Set them once for your account, for a template, or for a single inspection. See Summary instructions.
