Importing a template from your old software used to give you the structure but not the intelligence: every deficiency checklist landed as a plain multi-select, and nothing you ticked showed up in the report's findings.
Imports now recognize the difference between a neutral list ("materials present") and a list of things that are wrong. Defect and deficiency checklists come across as Issues fields, so every option an inspector selects automatically becomes a finding on the client's report.
Each option arrives pre-filled with a severity — safety, electrical, structural, fire, health, maintenance, or info — and with the canned comment text from your old template as the client-facing explanation. Edit any of it in the template editor; it's the same Issues field you'd have built by hand.
Every section and subsection now gets an icon picked to match its contents, so an imported template looks like the rest of the app instead of a wall of plain text. Change any of them with the icon picker.
