Set a base fee plus per-square-foot, extra-structure, extra-unit, travel, and older-home charges, and Eave works out each inspection's fee with the math shown.
Many inspectors price by size, and now Eave does that math for you.
Set your pricing once. In Settings → Account → Defaults, switch
Default fee to Calculated. Set a base fee, then add the charges you
use, like $0.10 per sq ft over the first 2,000 sq ft or $75 per extra
structure. A worked example shows what a typical home would cost.
Price each template. Open a template and click the fee button in the top
bar. A Pool & Spa add-on can carry its own flat fee, and it's added on top of
your main pricing when you use both templates.
See the math on every inspection. When you add an inspection, enter the
square footage and any other amounts. Each charge is listed with its math,
like 1,150 sq ft over 2,000 × $0.10/sq ft = $115. You can adjust the rates
for just that inspection, or switch to Manual and type a fee.
Show clients the breakdown. Turn on Show the price breakdown to
clients, either as a default or on one inspection. The itemized price then
appears on the report and the pay page.
